February 27 is Last Day for Passport Applications!
In connection with the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles’ Consular Outreach Mission to Houston, Texas, from 12 to 13 March 2009, the public is advised that the deadline for submission of applications for passport renewal will be moved from Friday, 7 March 2009 to Friday, 27 February 2009. Receipt of applications ends at the close of business hours, Los Angeles time, on 27 February 2009.
To date, the Consulate General has scheduled more than one thousand applicants for its two-day consular mission to Houston. Owing to the limited number of personnel who will assist clients during the aforesaid mission, the Consulate General is unable to guarantee that it can satisfactorily service the needs of a considerably large clientele.
Those who may not be accommodated in Houston on 12-13 March 2009 may wish to secure an appointment for the Consulate General’s consular mission at the Memorial Park Recreation Center, 1950-B South Valley Parkway Lewisville, Dallas, Texas 75067 from 15 March to 16 March 2009. The Consulate General intends to schedule another mission to Houston in July 2009.
